Brandon believes in a vibrant and thriving West Fayetteville.

On the Issues

  • Equitable Appropriations for West Fayetteville

West Fayetteville is as much of a contributor to our fair city as any another neighborhood. We are the growth region where families, schools, and small businesses are all working together to build a community of which we can be proud. We deserve the diligent attention of our leaders and their commitment to stand up and provide fair resources that will better the lives and enhance the potential of those who reside on the west side of town.

  • Support Budget Administration

Fayetteville leaders must make all efforts to administer funds responsibly and be ever vigilant to reduce waste, fraud, and abuse. Being good stewards of public funds is a sacred duty that must be met with realistic expectations and a desire to keep Fayetteville at the forefront of dynamic innovation. Strong administrative management in our city council is critical to maintaining our city’s growth and stability.

  • Strategically Address Crime

As Fayetteville grows, so does its responsibility to protect its citizens and their property. Systematic improvements such as increased safety lighting and intersection surveillance and continued support for local law enforcement can work to deter criminal activity. Infrastructure investments in high-use areas of the city should be supported in concert with appropriate safety features.

  • Affordable Housing

Fayetteville is consistently listed as one of the best places in the country to live. As more people move to our area, affordable housing becomes a greater concern. Increasing housing stock of all kinds can help all those who call Fayetteville home. Together, we can move Fayetteville forward in a responsible and sustainable way.

  • Quality of Life

Support for city parks, public transportation, the Razorback Greenway bike trail, water recreation areas, dog parks, street beautification, mulch/compost programs, and community gardening can all make life a little easier or a little more fun. Supporting programs that the people of Fayetteville want and enjoy is part of the city’s duty to its people.

  • Proactive Water Management

Clabber Creek, Hamestring Creek, Owl Creek, and Goose Creek can affect life for residents in West Fayetteville. Responsible, proactive management of these tributaries and their watersheds will protect our neighbors’ homes and property. As Fayetteville grows, we must consider the long term impacts on our Natural State so that locals can enjoy downstream areas such as Lake Wedington Recreation Area and the Illinois River.
